I hear a lot of things when mom thinks I’m asleep. She just told dad about the coolest thing ever, except maybe for my stuffed giraffe! It’s called the Big Dog Campaign. Dad says LABapalooza isn’t happening this year because of some virus thing, so Love of Labs is launching a monthly giving program called the Big Dog Campaign. I think they named it after me ’cause I’m definitely a Big Dog!

Giving each month helps the Love of Labs team rescue more dogs like me. I was found in a field after being hit by a car. It was cold, and I was hungry and scared and my hip hurt a lot. My skin was raw on one side. But Love of Labs worked with a local shelter and I rode in a car all the way to Indianapawlis. A family took me into their home and cared for me. They took me to a nice doctor who said I had a broken hip and very bad road rash. I took a little nap and then recovered in my very own bed. I never had my own bed before! In about six weeks I was running and playing with my new toys. Now I go for walks, I get lots of treats, and best of all, I am safe and loved. I want this for all the dogs like me who never had a chance unless someone cared enough to help. I heard mom say that it cost $1,700 to make me all better, and that my recovery was possible because people I don’t even know gave money so that I could have a full and happy life. I would love to shower them with pup kisses!
