Quinn

We knew that there was something special in store for our little runt, Quinn. She was adopted by a good family.  BUT, unfortunately, their vet told them she was gravely ill, so they returned her to us quickly. She just had Giardia, which has been treated and is no big deal, it’s just a parasite.  But our little runt is currently weighing over 9 lbs NOW!!

Then, bless her heart, Quinn’s fur started thinning, Demodex!  We are currently giving her dips every 2 weeks.  ALL dogs have Demodex, only a few have it this badly, even Quinn’s wasn’t this bad until the 2nd treatment.  The treatments make them lose most of their fur, as you can see.

Quinn is being adopted by a FANTASTIC family that had a horrible house fire in 2007.  They are true animal lovers & advocates.  They were displaced from their home for over a year due to that fire!  But, that wasn’t the worse of it…….the death of their beloved animals was!   Unfortunately, they lost 3 cats and their family dog!  They were devastated, needless to say!

These wonderful people have moved back into their home and have had time to grieve for their pets.  They have decided the house is too quiet and they need to share their love with another dog………so, they have decided to adopt Quinn!  Our little ‘Barenaked” baby.  Quinn is the last pup left from Lily.

Lily was the Lab mix that was left outside with a fruit crate as a dog house.  The day we picked up Lily it was 5 degrees.  Lily was very pregnant, had no food and no water.  We couldn’t leave her like that.  She is one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met.

LOLIN wants to thank the Manuels for adopting Quinn!  There is a special place in Heaven for them.  Thank you!
