A very large percentage of Love of Lab's adoptable dogs are RESCUED from Animal Control &/or Humane Societies in the Midwest, especially from IN, before the dog's day of doom. We work with many shelters, especially in IN, to save as many Labs as possible from either being gassed to death or from being given a lethal injection to end their lives. Below are some of the lucky dogs that we have saved and have found wonderful, grateful, loving families.

Mylee is doing wonderful! She's such a joy, such a sweetie, such a well behaved
dog...we couldn't have asked for more. She is so wonderful on the lead (leash)
too and stays right by our side. She does have a 'glove' fettish. The kids can't
play out in the snow w/ her because she just grabs their gloves off their hands
and runs away with them! Too funny! She also has a 'croc' fettish. Loves to find
the crocs the kids wear and sneak them off into another room. That's all we can
say about her on the other end of the stick. She's so wonderful.
Natalee even wrote her Young Author's book at school about how we adopted Mylee,
the process, etc. She is such a dog lover. Maybe others will read it and get the
word out about the organization & just about adopting dogs period. It sure was a
wonderful experience for us and we love to tell people about Lolin.
She's quite spoiled. She loves our sunroom (picture #1 attached). She loves
being outside & entertains herself out there. She's such a joy. The kids fight
over her (which night Mylee gets to sleep in their rooms), they play ball w/ her
all the time, give her big hugs and love her to death.
We went to Florida a couple weeks ago, had to put Mylee in a kennel and the kids
just about didn't want to go & leave her. She got very special extra attention
at the kennel though & said she was so sweet & wonderful and the kids made sure
they told her a thousand times 'We WILL be back to get you.' They didn't want
Mylee to think we were abandoning her.
Thanks again for taking such good care of her. I'm sure there will be MANY
summer pictures of her outside in the green grass having fun! Can't wait for
SUNSHINE & green grass! :-)
